A collective gaze

Inartem is born from the trust in culture as an engine of transformation. We are friends, colleagues, acquaintances who approach art from different areas, but through a shared vision that trusts and bets on collectivity and mutual support.

It all starts with the link with the world of grants in the scientific field, which makes us aware of the abundance and, at the same time, ignorance of public funding in the field of culture.

“Culture is abundant, but what is missing are the tools to make it sustainable.”

Trajectòria inartem 2024-2025

Each of the team comes from different fields — design, letters, economics, politics, sociology — and we know, first hand, the difficulty of carrying out artistic or cultural projects, whether due to lack of time, infrastructure, money or tools. It is precisely from here, from this concern and this awareness, that we decide to do our part to make culture more accessible and more sustainable. Over time, this initial impulse materializes in a service that today is the central axis of what we do: Subsidies and Financing (S&F).

It all starts by helping close people to get grants and residences, and as we discover the mechanisms of public financing, we decide to organize this knowledge. While working, we have created a database of cultural grants that we find in the public framework in Catalonia. This structure has helped us to promote dozens of cultural projects, including festivals and has shown us how transformative this service can be. For this reason, part of the team has gone one step further and has specialized in the search for European grants, to pave the way for cultural proposals with an innovative look and an international vocation.
